In the Community

Cam Smith was named the 2026 Heart & Hustle Award recipient, recognizing the passion, character, and dedication he brings to the game and his community. Those same values drive the Cam Smith Foundation’s commitment to supporting single moms, their children, and stronger communities beyond the field.

Cam Smith and Deamez Ross kicked off 2026 by giving back to the next generation through a special Skills & Drills Camp.

Young athletes came together for hands-on instruction, high-level drills, and the opportunity to learn directly from players and coaches who genuinely care about the game. More than baseball, the day was about mentorship, encouragement, and creating opportunities for young players to learn, grow, and build confidence.
